RPM Ends Season in Top 5 for Major Series
10/30/2009The Maxxis-sponsored RPM Racing team has scorched a path to several top spots in major series.
With victories in all eight races, Bobby Prochnau won the Canadian Enduro championship. Prochnau took the Overall Pro title in the series, which ran from July through September at sites across Canada. Taking no time to rest on his laurels, Prochnau then won two straight PNWMA Canadian Off-Road events.
Riding for the US team, Maria Forsberg took second place in the International Six Days Enduro, held October 12-17 in Portugal. Forsberg reports that her Maxxis tires ran perfectly for the entire event. In the WORCS series, Forsberg finished a strong third overall in the Women’s class, with a total of six podiums, including two victories.
Brendan Ritzman also did well in WORCS, earning eighth place overall in the Pro class. Ritzman took two top five finishes during the season.
