Kabush, Pendrel Win Mixed Pairs at BC Bike Race
7/08/2010Two of Maxxis’ top sponsored riders teamed up to win overall mixed pairs at the BC Bike Race. Maxxis-Rocky Mountain’s Geoff Kabush and the Luna Pro Team’s Catharine Pendrel won the seven-stage race, held June 26 – July 3 in British Columbia, Canada.
Kabush and Pendrel rode Maxxis’ new Ikon tires to the top of the podium, covering hundreds of miles of single-track without a hitch. “We definitely wanted to win, but our primary motivation was to have fun and ride the amazing trails that the BC Bike Race offers,” said Kabush. “The trails were incredible, and as the days wore on, it was impressive to see the caliber of the men that Catharine and I were racing with and beating.”
